I’m Stef Angeles, and I love designing solutions that make a difference. You can find this mindset at the core of everything I do—from my curiosity about how to help people who have experienced trauma heal through design solutions to my desire to create awareness among designers about how their products might be harmful to people with disabilities or who have experienced trauma themselves.
When it comes to user advocacy, I am always looking for ways to make things better for everyone involved—users and businesses alike. One way that I do this is by leveraging qualitative research methods like ethnography or user interviews as well as quantitative methods like surveys or A/B testing to better inform design decisions.
Outside of design, I’m a certified meditation & breathwork instructor, and working on getting my certification in trauma-conscious yoga. I also enjoy a good cocktail and reality tv show.

Verishop is a social shopping platform empowering independent small brands and content creators to share products they love.
In my time at Verishop I worked as the Product Designer and product owner on the ecommerce and social commerce teams. I worked on both the web and iOS platforms.

Callisto
Callisto (2018 Y Combinator alum) is a tech non-profit that builds a sexual assault reporting platform for college campuses. In my time at Callisto, I worked as the founding designer, maintaining both the brand and product design for 2 products.
At Callisto, I went from Senior Product Designer to Director of Product Design, managing a UX copy writer and a contract brand designer.
